Become a Paid Pollworker and a Pollwatcher

The nation relies on thousands upon thousands of pollworker for the smooth administration of elections. These stalwarts of democracy are recruited from the communities they serve and trained by local elections officials to run elections at polling sites. Pollworkers have a unique vantage point for observing and documenting election problems. PollworkersForDemocracy.org trains pollworkers to spot, document and report irregularities that endanger the accuracy of the elections.

To work with PollworkersForDemocracy, individuals sign up with their local elections office to become a pollworker, receive training both from their local government and for PollworkersForDemocracy, and generally work at the polls all day on Election Day.
